Sit back. Relax. Order an old favourite or try something mysterious and new.

Because when you’re at one of Sydney’s best bars, you know it’s going to be a fantastic night.

Crown Sydney is no stranger to exceptional cocktail bars, as we are home to some of the city’s very best bars. So pour yourself a drink and read on to discover your new favourite cocktail bar in Sydney.

CIRQ Bar & Lounge

Rise twenty-six floors to CIRQ Bar & Lounge, and raise a toast to yourselves, the view, and the exquisite cocktails on offer.

This iconic destination was awarded with Bar of the Year (Deluxe) at the Tourism Accommodation Australia Awards for Excellence, and it may well win a place in your heart with its offerings. You can soak in the indoor lounge with its bright, airy feel, or head to one of the exterior lounges on the lower or upper terraces for world-leading views and a fresh sea breeze.

The Inside Scoop on CIRQ

It’s not just us that think CIRQ is one of the best bars in Sydney, which is why it’s almost always sold out. You will need to be ready on the first of the month to place a reservation for two months in advance.

It’s like a gift to your future self.

Teahouse

Whimsy and wine. Decadence and dim sum. Teahouse is a magical concoction of delights, and one of the best cocktail bars in Sydney.

First and foremost, the décor. It’s like stepping into another world. One where a birdcage is a perfectly normal place to sit, and where world-class champagne goes hand-in-hand with Asian-inspired nibbles.

Stay indoors to take in the enchanting atmosphere, or sip your teas and cocktails outside on the terrace to look out over the Sydney Harbour. Wherever you go, your camera will be getting a workout.

Pro Teahouse Tip

You can’t go wrong with anything from this menu. But to go especially right, try one of the specialty dishes such as the Sydney Rock Oyster with Spicy Coriander Dressing, or the Slow Cooked Pork Belly with Cashew Nut Sauce. And for dessert, treat yourself to the ‘White Rabbit’ Candy White Chocolate Mousse.

Come hungry. Come thirsty. Leave awe-struck.

Restaurant Bars

Have you ever sat in a restaurant and realised how great it could be to simply sit at the bar for a drink? Restaurant bars are not to be sniffed at. In fact, they are to be sipped at.

Here are some of Crown’s best.

The Bar At Oncore By Clare Smyth

800 references. 3,000 bottles. And that’s just the cellar.

The Bar at Oncore is as special as the restaurant itself, with an exquisite selection of signature cocktails to keep you sipping in style. Celebrate the season with a ‘Summer’s Here’ cocktail, or surprise your tastebuds with an imminently luxurious ‘Ma Belle’, a cocktail devised with Larmandier-Bernier ‘Longitude’ and Blanc de Blancs NV champagne.

Of course, savvy sippers won’t miss this chance to try some of the bar bites on offer from Oncore itself.

Don’t Miss

The Bar at Oncore offers a four-course mini tasting menu from the restaurant – and a mini cocktail pairing to match. You won’t regret it.

A’mare Bar

A’Mare is a jewel in our crown, and the a’Mare Bar is the sparkle.

Head here for date nights and evenings with the crew, as it’s the perfect blend of Italian romance and Australian modernity. The vermouth and amaro selections are especially impressive, and the boutique Italian spirits are an adventure waiting to be discovered.

Try the Volare signature cocktail to start your night, and pair it with a Signature a’Mare Antipasto Box for nibbles fitting for the occasion.

A Tip to Sip

Order one of the a’Mare martinis to enjoy a cocktail and a show, as your bartender will make it tableside with the bespoke cocktail trolley.

Hickory Bar at Woodcut

Take in the atmosphere of a lively restaurant with the sheer fun of a bar at Hickory Bar.

It reigns in the middle of Woodcut, a restaurant that uses steam, charcoal and fire at the heart of its dishes. Similarly, Hickory Bar incorporates these fuels into the cocktail menu.

Try Woodcut’s bespoke gin with smoked botanicals and a charcoal infusion, and pair it with one of the wood-fired, smoked, or roasted dishes to match.

A Happy Tip

Happy hour is from 5:30pm to 7pm on Mondays, and 4pm to 7pm Tuesday to Friday. There are no reservations, so get in early to secure your spot.
