Spark subsidiary Computer Concepts (CCL) has been award Migration Competency staus by Amazon Web Services.
The competency designation validates that Spark Business Group, through CCL and cloud consultants Leaven, is a partner that provides specialised and demonstrated technical proficiency, and proven customer success in application modernisation, the company said.
This includes deep experitise in helping customers transform applications while moving to the cloud provider, to reduce cost, increase agility and improve security.
“We know that our customers can sometimes experience challenges with application migration planning, their technical requirements, and the skills and resources they have available so it’s important to partner with experts right from the start," the chief executive of CCL, Richard Adams, said.
"The AWS Migration Competency means that customers can feel confident they’re working with a partner to find more efficient ways of working and decreasing their time to value by leveraging AWS's cloud capabilities," he added.
AWS offers multiple competency tracks, separated into industries, use cases and workloads.
Last month, Ingram Micro said it had achieved the AWS Migration Competency status in ANZ and globally.
Datacom is another AWS partner holding the competency status.
