TD SYNNEX company Tech Data said it has unveiled a partnership with emissions reporting firm Carbonhalo to help businesses tackle upcoming climate regulations through a new sustainability initiative.
The Climate Action Partner Program aims to simplify carbon reporting for companies through a software-as-a-service platform that combines emissions tracking tools with expert guidance.
"Starting strategic climate action can seem complex, but it begins with taking the first step," Ben Daley, chief executive officer of Carbonhalo said.
The platform provides intuitive technology designed for users with minimal prior experience in emissions reporting, supported by expert consultation in supply chain management, operational strategy and change implementation.
"As environmental regulations tighten, the Climate Action Partner Program stands out as one of the first in the region to provide partners with the structured support they need to lead in environmental responsibility," Andy Berry, country general manager of Tech Data ANZ said.
Tech Data partners gain access to workshops and guidance materials through the program, while also opening potential revenue streams by offering Carbonhalo's solutions to their own customers.
The initiative aligns with Tech Data's own environmental goals, including its target to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.
Companies can learn more about incoming climate reporting requirements and the program's features through an upcoming webinar scheduled for 28 November.
