US workforce management platform Rippling has opened its Asia-Pacific (APAC) regional headquarters in Sydney as part of its multi-year investment initiative in the region.
Valued at US$11.25B, the company has partners in Australia and are actively recruiting and onboarding MSPs, accountants and HR consultants.
Rippling also announced the appointment of former VP Asia at Slack Matt Loop as its VP and head of Asia, responsible for leading Rippling's regional operations and 30 Sydney-based employees.
Rippling said it plans to "create additional jobs across sales, marketing and product functions over the coming months" as well as "invest in R&D and expand its product suite."
The company's Australian customers include SiteMate, Liven, Omniscient Neurotechnology (O8t) and its global clients include Notion and Anthropic.
"It’s extremely challenging for businesses to keep employee data consistent when it’s scattered across disparate, siloed systems," Loop Said.
"Many end up spending too much money on too many pieces of software—and wind up wasting countless hours on mundane tasks that can easily be automated or eliminated."
"Rippling addresses this issue by providing businesses and their employees with a unified system of record—so when you make an update in one place, it automatically syncs across all connected systems."
"When it's all in one place, it gives every team the power to automate tasks, access key insights, and accelerate business execution. We’re excited to bring this new approach to Australia and help businesses run more efficiently."
