Education provider Navitas said it has renewed its partnership with Macquarie Telecom, part of ASX-listed Macquarie Technology Group, following a comprehensive market review of telecommunications providers.
The agreement aims to deliver cost savings and enhanced infrastructure management for Navitas's global network of 98 colleges and campuses.
The decision followed a competitive tender process involving major providers including Telstra, Optus, and TPG.
Navitas, which supports more than 56,000 students worldwide, sought to consolidate its existing contracts and improve network resilience.
The partnership's strength was demonstrated during a recent headquarters relocation in Perth's CBD.
"Macquarie's customer service and engagement have always been exceptional," Michael Schofield, global head of infrastructure, services, and delivery at Navitas said.
"Macquarie Telecom really stepped up to ensure services were installed ahead of time and that the business was able to open our new headquarters on time," Schofield added.
The company manages over 5000 employee endpoints across its global operations.
"Navitas' remarkable success in the education sector, on an international scale, reflects a deep-seated passion for innovation and excellence," said Aaron Tighe, Western Australia state manager, Macquarie Telecom.
The decade-long relationship spans services including mobile, landline telephony, and data centre technology.
Navitas said it is exploring additional services including cybersecurity, cloud, and artificial intelligence solutions.
Terms of the contract extension were not disclosed.
