IT management software provider Kaseya has unveiled a new security solution for managed service providers (MSPs) and acquired cyber security firm SaaS Alerts.
The new Kaseya 365 User platform helps MSPs prevent, respond to and recover from threats to user identity and security.
The company announced these developments at DattoCon Miami in Florida, alongside its acquisition of SaaS Alerts, whose technology will be included for free within the Kaseya 365 User subscription.
"As cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated, MSP tools need to evolve", Jim Lippie, chief executive officer of SaaS Alerts said.
Kaseya also revealed a US$10 million investment in its new Backup Concierge Program, available free to Kaseya Datto backup customers.
The announcement follows the launch of Kaseya 365 Endpoint in April 2024, which now protects more than 5.5 million devices.
"Our mission is to make our partners more profitable, by providing them a platform that provides far more AI-based automation than otherwise available, and offering that platform at a fraction of the cost", Fred Voccola, chief executive officer of Kaseya said.
The company has also expanded its Cooper Copilot AI features to include smart ticket summaries and resolution documentation for its professional services automation tools.
