CEMIRIDE is a Steering Committee Member of the Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) Multi Stakeholder Platform (MSP). Chaired and hosted by the Climate Change Unit (CCU) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (MoALF), this is an important platform for minorities and indigenous communities to engage with policy makers. The platform promotes an inclusive institutional framework for coordination and harmonization of CSA implementation while fostering an enabling environment for the realization of CSA objectives with particular attention to the most vulnerable to climate change impacts like women, persons with disabilities and marginalized communities.
