Lindsay Lohan's Long Blonde Waves Are Giving Rapunzel

Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and Get a Clue practically raised me. Lindsay Lohan's Disney Channel reign was everything to me growing up, so to see her modern-day renaissance as an actress—and a bonafide hair muse—is such a treat. Her "churro" colored strands kicked off a strawberry blonde craze, she was featured in a Parent Trap-inspired campaign for Nexxus, and her latest look is just further proof of her impeccable hair game.

On November 18, Lohan headed to New York's Paris Theater for the screening of her upcoming holiday film, Our Little Secret. For the night out, the actror wore a sheer black Zuhair Murad dress paired with soft retro waves that we can't get enough of.

Lohan looked stunning. The work of hairstylist Danielle Priano, the front pieces of her hair swept back effortlessly to form a mini-bouffant with a few strands left out to frame her face. To prep the hair before styling Priano used the Nexxus Epic Shine Anti-Humidity spray before adding the brands Medium-Hold Volume Mousse at the crown to get the voluminous Bardot-style. The rest of her hair was curled in shiny loose waves and finished with the Maximum Hold Firm Hairspray. It felt like a polished, slightly more put-together take on the party girl wave hairstyle we've been seeing throughout the fall that was ushered in by Charli XCX's bouncy, bratty curls.

Makeup artist Ash K Holm collaborated with Lohan on her glam for the night which included blushed cheeks and a shimmery eyeshadow look. She wore a peachy bronze eyeshadow which was paired with a pop of a shimmery champagne-toned shadow in her inner corner. Her complexion was radiant with lots of blush and highlighter, and the look was complete with a pink lip gloss.

Party girl waves are more of a vibe than a specific hairstyle per say, but Lohan's latest is proof that it can be buttoned-up for fancier events such as the release of a new movie or a preppy gala. We have no notes. Lohan's elegant waves are simply perfect.
