Popular fall nail shades are just stunning. Deep burgundies, chocolate browns, and celestial navy blues are rich, decadent shades that just feel luxurious, but they are a little...expected. Looking to switch things up? Kaia Gerber's latest manicure offers the perfect fall reset.

ICYMI: The LACMA Arts and Films Gala happened over the weekend on Saturday, November 2, and as expected, the fashion and beauty moments were aplenty, even in the nail department. Charli XCX opted for a softer beige shade rather than her typical black, and Gerber paired her Gucci gown with an equally as unexpected nude milky manicure.

While the model-slash-actor often leans towards classic nail shades and styles, the wash of a pinky nude color still feels like a stand-out shade especially come fall. Where most are opting for trending autumnal shades, the nude shade comes slightly unexpected. She chose a rounded almond base which was topped with a sheer eggshell-y, pink color—if you look closely, you can still see the whites of her natural nails, the sign of a true milky mani. The nail look was crafted by manicurist Thuy Nguyen, and we would guess it might start another wave of the milky mani craze.

Hairstylist Bryce Scarlett and Makeup Artist Nina Park were responsible for Gerber's glam, which stuck to her usual model-off-duty glamour. Scarlett styled loose, elegant waves which showed off her shiny strands, and Park perfected the ideal fall eye look. She lined Gerber's lids and half of her waterline, adding in wispy long lashes for a pretty doll-like effect and topping it off with the thinest line of white. The look was complete with rosy blush and a pinky nude lip combination: a beige liner and a dusty pink lipstick.

Gerber's fall spin on the sheer manicure is sure to revive the trend and we can confidently say that the milky manicure is so back.
