Hailey Bieber Celebrated Her Birthday With a Cutesy "Martini" Manicure

Your birthday is typically a day for celebrating and indulgence, but for Hailey Bieber, it's a day of serving. The beauty muse celebrated her 28th birthday over the weekend with a new Rhode launch, a mood board-worthy party, and a cutesy celebratory manicure.

Bieber posted photos from the party to Instagram, captioning the post "28….Tini," nodding to her big night's theme: Martinis. In the slideshow, Bieber showed a close-up of a martini bar along with selfies of her sipping on the fancy drink. Can you guess what her manicure entailed? Martinis, of course. Bieber wore tiny little martini olives on her nails.

Crafted by Bieber's go-to manicurist Zola Ganzorigt, her birthday manicure features the cutest hand-painted details on a vibrant baby blue color—a refreshing change from her latest rotation of fall hues. She opted for her signature rounded almond shape, with each nail painted with a powdery blue shade as the base. On her middle and pinky finger, Ganzorigt painted on a teeny tiny olive, just like the one's you'd throw in a martini. And, Bieber's "martini" nails were born.

Funny enough, Byrdie posted a step-by-step guide on how to get a martini manicure on our Instagram earlier this year (great minds really do think alike). Although it's not Bieber's exact style, the similar nail look is still just as cute. Nail creator @nailsbymaki.nyc starts by painting each nail with a milky pink base coat. Then, she picks up a silver shade on a thin brush to paint the martini glass on one nail, dotting it with a green olive in the center. Next, she paints on an olive on every other nail, dotting it with red for a realistic feel. She completes the look with a glossy top coat.

Bieber's glam for the night was just how you'd expect it: Her complexion was glowy and blushed (courtesy of Rhode's Pocket Blushes) with shimmery highlight placed on her cheeks and nose. The look was complete with an ultra-glossy nude lip and a fleck of a mini wing. She paired it with lots of diamond jewelry and an a matching black feather top and mini-skirt.

Hand painted nail details were popular over the summer thanks to Bieber and company. The manicure muse inspired the nail look of the summer with little colorful fruits in her "farmers market" nails, and Kylie Jenner tried on a "summer garden" manicure with hand painted bugs. The trend has since taken a backset, but with Bieber's latest, we'd wager it'll get a second life this winter.
