Hello,
I live near Buffalo and I am planning on attending my first Buffalo Bills game at Highmark Stadium this season. I will be attending a Sunday 4 PM game, possibly this upcoming Sunday’s Bills-Chiefs game, and I have a question. During Sunday afternoon games, are any sort of fireworks or pyrotechnics used at Highmark Stadium? I have a hearing condition and as such I am not supposed to expose myself to loud, sudden noises such as fireworks, pyrotechnics, and the like, as it could be damaging to me.
Things like loud crowd noise, loud music, recorded sound effects, and such are not a problem for me. It’s any type of loud, sudden bang that I need to watch out for. I know many NFL stadiums use fireworks during their games, and I would like to be able to prepare accordingly if that is the case at Highmark Stadium.
Are any types of fireworks or pyrotechnics, or other loud sudden noises, used before/after/during the games? If so, at what points are they used? Can you give me a bit of an idea of how loud they sound while in the audience? Please note that again I’m specifically asking about Sunday afternoon late-window games, as I realize that evening/primetime games might be different. Thank you so much for the information, it is much appreciated! Go Bills!! :)
