Sydney Harbour Bridge Summit Boasts a 70’s Flashing Dance Floor for Vivid Sydney
From 27 May to 18 June 2016, BridgeClimb is inviting Vivid Sydney fans to come and experience The Vivid Climb 134 metres above the festival and break out their best moves on a 70’s style multi-coloured flashing dance floor like no other, with music played through concert style speakers – at the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!
The Australian icon catches the Night Fever with a vibrant light installation at the summit for Climbers to enjoy during Vivid Sydney, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest festival of light, music and ideas. The multi-coloured flashing floor will stage groups of Vivid Climbers dancing to a spectacular Harbour vista with the Opera House colourfully illuminated behind them.
For 20 days during the Vivid Festival, the city of Sydney is a-buzz with musical performances, thought seminars and hundreds of interactive and visually engaging light sculpture for families, couples and individuals, from near and far to enjoy.
The most exclusive of these light attractions is at the top of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge where Climbers on The Vivid Climb 2016 can show off their best moves to Abba’s “Dancing Queen”, twist and bop to Kylie Minogue’s “Spinning Around” and hand jive to The Bee Gee’s “Saturday Night Fever” on the unique sky high stage.
Climbers will also become a part of the attractions themselves, wearing special Vivid Climb vests fitted with flashing lights. Climb groups will be seen illuminating the iconic steel arches by Vivid Sydney visitors from below in Circular Quay and Darling Harbour.
The Vivid Climb takes place during Vivid Sydney 2016 (27 May – 18 June), on all Climbs departing at night, including a Climb in Mandarin departing at 6pm each night. To book, please visit http://www.bridgeclimb.com/vivid
BridgeClimb offers a truly memorable experience, perfect for special occasions, family adventures, team building and corporate events. For more information, please visit www.bridgeclimb.com or call +61 (0) 2 8274 7777.
