BRAINERD — Pastor Rob Pesola will lead the 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, worship service at Bethel Lutheran on the fourth Sunday of Advent.

Sunday school and coffee fellowship will follow at 10 am.

Pastor Jeff Macejkovic will lead the Christmas Eve worship service that begins at 4 p.m. Dec. 24.

BRAINERD — First Congregational United Church of Christ will have worship at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, in-person and Facebook Live.

Fellowship follows the worship service. A special offering will be taken for the Christmas Fund UCC Missions.

BRAINERD — Bethlehem Lutheran Church, is cohosting an Advent service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Trinity Lutheran Church.

This will be followed by a soup lunch. Then Pastor Mark Skinner will lead a Bible study on the Gospel according to Luke at 11:45 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Wednesday’s Advent service using the Holden Evening Prayer liturgy will begin at 6:20 p.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 22, they will celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent with an in-person and livestreamed worship service at 9 a.m. The livestream can be viewed on our Facebook page at facebook.com/bethlehem.brainerd . The service will be put on belcnet.net after its completion for later viewing.

There will be a Quiet Christmas Service of Healing at 4 p.m. Sunday. This is a more reflective service than a traditional Christmas Eve service.

Christmas Eve services will be 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. All services will include candlelight and communion. The 2 p.m. service will also be livestreamed.

BAXTER — Christ Lutheran (WELS) in Baxter will have a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. and a Christmas Day Service at 9 a.m.

The church is located at 13815 Cherrywood Drive in Baxter.

BRAINERD — On Sunday, Dec. 22, worship with the First Lutheran Church Christmas Cantata “Behold the Star” directed by Marcus Aulie will be 9:15 a.m. at 424 S. Eighth St., Brainerd.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship with Holy Communion will be 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Christmas Eve.

BRAINERD — On Wednesday, Dec. 18, Trinity Lutheran Church will have two Advent services.

There will be a 11 a.m. service followed by a soup luncheon in the Gathering Area.

There will be an Evening Advent service at 6:15 p.m. preceded by meal in Fellowship Hall at 5 p.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 22, there will be an Advent Song service featuring various musical groups from Trinity. The service is broadcast live on Radio KVBR 1340 and live streamed on YouTube. Later it is available on Facebook and trinitybrainerd.org .

On Dec. 24, there will be two Christmas Eve Candlelight services with Holy Communion at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Pastor Kim Suhr will be preaching.

BRAINERD — The Wednesday Night Kids’ Club will be performing a Christmas Puppet Play during the service at South Long Lake Church Sunday, Dec 22.

Pastor Jeff Lawson will be sharing a message as well. The service begins at 9:30 a.m. which will be streaming live on Facebook and about an hour later can be viewed on Youtube.

The Christmas Eve Service is 4 p.m. Dec. 24. Bring a battery-operated candle to use during the closing song.

BAXTER — All are invited to join Lord of Life Lutheran Church in celebrating Christmas Eve on Tuesday, Dec. 24.

Lord of Life will have three Christmas Eve Candlelight Services at 3, 5, and 9 p.m. Pastor Erika Nilsen will preach and lead the 3 and 5 p.m. services, while Retired Pastor Darrell Pedersen will lead and preach at the 9 p.m. service.
