The Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) is the world's leading international conference on key issues regarding the future of the global agri-food industry. The GFFA focuses on the issue of food security and has taken place annually during the International Green Week in Berlin since 2009.

Chaired by Federal Minister Cem Özdemir, the agriculture ministers from over 60 states met at the 16th Berlin Agriculture Ministers’ Conference and undertook to continue the necessary transformation towards sustainable and consequently resilient agriculture and food systems. In their final communiqué, they underlined that this was the only way to make the right to adequate food a reality for everyone across the globe.

There were again 20 different expert panel discussions at 2024 GFFA.  They facilitated an in-depth technical exchange. Experts from politics, academia, industry and civil society participated.
