The Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9) will face the Houston Texans (7-5) at 1:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, Dec. 1 at EverBank Stadium.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars are 5.5-point underdogs and the total is 43.5 points.
The big question in Jacksonville this week is Trevor Lawrence's status. He missed the past two games due to a sprained AC joint in his left (non-throwing) shoulder.
Nobody is quite 100% sure that Lawrence will return this season, but he wasn't placed on injured reserve and Doug Pederson expressed hope last week.
“Trevor will be out. We just decided this week. He’s getting close, but to make sure, again, you guys know how I am with injuries, we don’t want to put a player out there who’s not 100 percent, so we’re going to rest him for one more week.”
“Still a question mark [as to whether he could play after the bye], but I’m optimistic, yeah.”
If Lawrence is active, the spread will likely shift in favor of the Jaguars, and vice versa if he is ruled out. Backup quarterback Mac Jones ranks dead last in passer rating and QBR this season.
