Monday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:15 p.m. EST as the 7-3 Los Angeles Chargers host the 7-4 Baltimore Ravens at SoFi Stadium.
The Ravens are 2.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and the total is 50.5 points.
It’s the third iteration of the HarBowl, a.k.a. the third matchup between brothers Jim and John Harbaugh. The latter has coached Baltimore for 17 seasons and won Super Bowl XLVII over Jim, who coached the 49ers at the time. Jim since returned to his alma mater and led the Wolverines to its first national championship since 1997, but now he’s heading a red-hot Chargers team hungry to prove itself as Super Bowl contenders while Jim is looking to avenge his loss in the Big Game.
John won the first game between these two future Hall-of-Famers back in 2011 on Thanksgiving Day. As much as I believe the Ravens are a better team, I can’t help but fall into the storyline trap. I think Jim will get his first NFL win over his big bro tonight.
I recommend Nate Tice’s piece on Yahoo Sports for a more detailed X’s and O’s breakdown.
