Monday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:15 p.m. EST as the Los Angeles Rams host the Miami Dolphins at SoFi Stadium.
The Rams are 2.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and the total is 48.5 points.
I like the home team to win and cover tonight. The Rams are getting healthy on offense: the air-bending trio of Matthew Stafford/Cooper Kupp/Puka Nacua have led L.A. to consecutive wins with 26-plus points and 350-plus yards, and interior linemen Steve Avila and Jonah Jackson are expected to return tonight. Sean McVay’s unit should be able to put up plenty of points against a Miami defense that’s wilted against top competition this season.
On the other side of the ball, the Rams’ defensive line poses a huge mismatch for the Dolphins’ offensive line. Los Angeles actually leads the league in pressure rate this season — an incredible feat considering it is their first season sans future first-ballot Hall of Famer Aaron Donald — so it’ll be interesting to see if they can get home and generate sacks against Tua Tagovailoa, who throws the ball quicker than any quarterback in the league.
