Hi, my name is Gaby. I’m a 20yr mother with a one and a half year old. I have plaque psoriasis which originally started as small patches in my right hand and a large patch that covered my left thumb as well as my scalp. It then spread more on my hands and eventually to my knees and elbows. I went to my primary doctor who then prescribed me Clobetasol propionate for both my scalp and skin. As I continued to use said ointment on my skin my psoriasis began quickly growing and spreading around my entire body and is currently the worst on my feet. I have my first dermatologist appointment tomorrow and I’ve been researching medication to help with the condition and one that’s interesting me at the moment is Sotyktu. I guess what I’m asking is has anyone used sotyktu and if so what were the results? As well as are there any other suggestions for products that work for you that you all could recommend? It makes it hard to do day to day tasks such as take care of my child or even walk at times and I would just love to get my life back. Thank you so much in advance everyone.

Hey, my name is Maddie. I am 26 years old. I have had scalp psoriasis for 4 years and recently developed pustules on my hands a couple of months ago. I was diagnosed with GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) around maybe 9 years old or 10 years old along with PTLS which is a genetic duplication that affects a bunch of different things. This is a link about the disorder if you want to read more. My anxiety does not help my psoriasis. I have tried multiple different creams and shampoos, but what seems to help the most are T Gel Shampoo and Ketoconazole. About seven weeks ago, I started a new diet designed specifically for psoriasis. It has been incredibly difficult since this diet does not allow: potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, beef, ham, etc. But my face has been clearing up which is nice (part of that I think is because I have been using Cuticura as facial soap). My scalp still is messy but I am hoping eventually it will clear up.

My personal experience is that taking a multiple vitamin is not good for me. The label on a typical vitamin bottle shows, for some vitamins and minerals, much more that the recommended daily allowance (RDA). My personal experience is that I feel best without vitamin supplementation, relying only on food sources for my vitamins. Everyone is different, but that is my personal experience.

I am 57 and I was first diagnosed with plaque psoriasis when I was 20, and it has been terrible at different points in my life, and have had strangers, friends and family make cruel remarks about it. My mother’s side of the family have several that have psoriasis. I also have issues with it on my scalp as well, I have tried so many different medications, creams and ointments, but I’m am interested in trying some of the new medications available. I would love to find a medication that helps, it just gets depressing with always dealing with psoriasis. I found bezzy, and I have been encouraged by the stories of others, and knowing there is a safe place to come without worrying what others will say or think. I look forward to interacting with others on here.

Hello, I am new to this group. I would like this group to be a place where I can get support and ideas how to control my problems. I currently have both psoriasis with artritis and exzema. I am married with 3 grown children, 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. I work full time and take care of my disabled/retired husband.
