Four-hundred presents off to Ukraine from Plymouth
BBCA convoy of caravans carrying 400 Christmas presents is leaving Plymouth for Ukraine.
The presents have been donated by people from the city and beyond, which organiser Andy Evangelou said was "humbling".
Makysm Litvinov, who is from Ukraine and lives in Plymouth, said "It's the third year of the war and a lot of children have lost their childhoods in these very difficult days.
"We are trying to do something for their happiness."
As well as the presents, the convoy is taking medical aid including surgical supplies, a dialysis machine and an ultrasound machine.
The group uses caravans to transport the supplies which are then left as homes for people who have become homeless or as shelters for soldiers.
They plan to leave three caravans in Ukraine on this trip.
It will take between four and five days to drive to Ukraine.
