KUWAIT CITY, Dec 24: The Criminal Court sentenced a woman to three years imprisonment and imposed a fine of KD 3,000 on her after she was convicted of inciting others to “prostitution” in Mahboula and posting pornographic pictures on Snapchat. The Public Prosecution charged the woman with intentionally insulting others via phone by sending indecent photos and a text message containing explicit content and encouraging debauchery and immorality through Snapchat. These actions were confirmed by investigations conducted by detectives from the Anti-Cybercrime Department, and the accused’s admission to committing the crimes.
