Miranda Stephani

Associate General Counsel / Levi Strauss & Co.

As Associate General Counsel at Levi Strauss & Co., Miranda Stephani is the lead commercial attorney for LS&Co. in the Americas, where she helps the company navigate a full range of legal and business challenges. Her practice includes complex commercial, financial, technology and real estate deals, driving operational and procedural improvements, managing compliance matters and legal disputes. Notably, Miranda led a team in building and implementing a comprehensive global contract management process and contract lifecycle management tool, for which she received the “Legal Hero” award for 2016. In 2017 she received the LS&Co. MVP award, which is given to a handful of LS&Co. employees, for exemplifying the company objective “Be Part of the Solution”. In 2018 she received two LS&Co. Excellence Awards, a company-wide award celebrating the “best-of-the-best achievements.” Prior to joining LS&Co., Miranda was in-house at L Brands, Inc., where her practice included corporate, finance, commercial and international matters, including laying the legal groundwork for the global expansion of the Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works brands into 300+ international locations, spearheading licensing, supply agreements and structuring strategy. Miranda began her practice at the law firm of Hahn, Loeser & Parks in Columbus, Ohio after graduating from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law with honors, where she was a founder and first Editor-in-Chief of The Ohio State Entrepreneurial Business Law Journal. Miranda received her B.A., cum laude, from Wellesley College and worked in mutual funds prior to pursuing a career in law. She lives in San Francisco, and loves to travel. Miranda focuses her volunteer and nonprofit board participation on essential services, education and the welfare of women and children.
