Maeve Rothman

Maeve Rothman began her professional career in the area of sales, licensing, and contracts within publishing more than two decades ago. After earning her law degree in 2011, she transitioned to an in-house legal role with esteemed companies such as BIC Corporation and Nestlé Waters, focusing on commercial, and marketing & advertising law. For just over 2.5 years now, as a Director, Senior Counsel she has been a part of Mastercard North American legal department, continuing her focus on working with the commercial, marketing, and sponsorship business teams. In her role, she reviews and negotiates an array of sponsorship and marketing agreements, including talent contracts, brand ambassadors, events, media purchases, and agency deals, works on a variety of marketing programs, and provides legal guidance on the latest U.S. regulatory updates. Maeve is also an active member of the ANA Legal Affairs Committee, co-chairs the regional Westchester/Fairfield County ACC Marketing and Advertising Committee, and frequently speaks on legal panels about marketing, advertising, licensing, and contract law.
