Heather Howdeshell Morlock is Assistant General Counsel â Product, Consumer and Strategic Transactions on Deltaâs Corporate Transactions & Marketing team. Heather is a seasoned legal advisor and serves as lead counsel to Deltaâs Consumer, Product, and Sustainability areas. Heather has served in a variety of roles while at Delta, including as legal counsel for Marketing, Corporate Development, Digital, Loyalty, Sustainability, Sales, and Communications. She previously served as counsel for the Delta Private Jets and Delta Vacations subsidiaries. Throughout the pandemic, Heather advised extensively on Deltaâs customer strategy, including travel flexibility, refunds, and consumer policy.
Heather volunteers with and serves on the Advisory Board of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta (PBPA), is on the Board of OnBoard, Inc., and has previously served in advisory roles including Chair of PBPA SpringBoard, Prevent Blindness Georgiaâs Executive Committee, and Advisory Team Chair for Delta Gamma at UGA. Within Delta, she has led initiatives such as Chairmanâs Club Selection and the Law Departmentâs Pro Bono and Legal Intern Programs.
Heather holds a Law degree and MA in Anthropology from University of Florida and a BA from University of Georgia. Outside of work, Heather enjoys traveling, reading and hiking. Prior to joining Delta, Heather practiced law at a large firm in Atlanta, focusing her practice on strategic partnerships and M&A, and before her legal career she worked as an archaeologist in the Southeast US.
