For years, Taco Bell has been churning out iconic Tex-Mex menu items. Fan favorites include everything from the Crunchwrap Supreme to the Cheesy Gordita Crunch. And, of course, who can forget the Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco?

This year, the fast-food chain is also adding a ton of brand-new items to the menu, such as the Cheesy Chicken Crispnada that launched this week and plenty more coming later this year.

One item, in particular, has been a consistent staple adored by fans and will soon get a makeover that’s been a long time coming.

Taco Bell’s New Hot Sauce Packets

Taco Bell’s hot sauce packets have been one of the most iconic items on the menu thanks to the wide variety of flavors and the playful sayings on the label. There isn’t a sauce packet collection fully equipped with pajamas and balloons dedicated to these sauce packets for nothing.

The original hot sauce packets come in fiery colors with sayings that include “Too Good To Not Be True” for the Hot version and “On The Count Of Three…” for the Fire version.

But after so many years of keeping the same look, the company finally decided to upgrade the popular sauce packets and will soon showcase brand-new designs at Taco Bell locations later this year.

Taco Bell gave fans a sneak peek during the Taco Bell Presents Live Más Live 2024, revealing the new hot sauce packet designs. Soon, the Mild sauce packet in orange will read, “Just Happy To Be Here,” while the Hot in red will say, “Don’t Think, Just Do.”

Those who are looking for more heat will want to grab a Fire hot sauce packet in dark red that says, “Keep The Same Energy,” or the deeper red Diablo that says, “Maybe I’m The Problem.”

There’s also the newbie Avocado Salsa Verde in a green packet with the saying, “Taking A Break From My Break,” which is made to pair with the upcoming Cantina Chicken menu, which drops on March 21.

As if that wasn’t enough, Taco Bell has teamed up with Grammy-nominated musician Omar Apollo for a new sauce packet offering called "Disha Hot." This sauce is exclusively from Apollo’s own family recipe and will be available to douse all your favorite items later this year.
