Subway's Newest Footlongs Are Not Sandwiches

And they’re only $2.

Subway has long been known for its colossal “footlong” sandwiches, but now, they’re taking the “footlong” concept to entirely new, ehem, lengths.

Earlier this week, Subway employee and TikTok creator Omar Masri posted a video revealing three new foot-long items: a pretzel, churro, and cookie. Although it sounds like another fake menu rumor (we know them well), this launch looks totally legitimate—and way better than the 12-inch potato chip created earlier this year.

In the video, which has already racked up six million views on TikTok, the creator shows both the printed in-store menu and a behind-the-scenes look at the food products. The same TikToker even teased the 12-inch dessert drops in a video months before.

New Subway Footlong Treats

From a glance at the menu, it looks like these first-of-their-kind items are part of the launch of new “Subway Sidekicks,” a series of (freakishly long) side items promoted with the slogan “Every footlong deserves a sidekick.” And this sidekick series has some seriously big bakery names backing it up.

The footlong salted pretzel is made in partnership with Auntie Anne’s, one of the best in the pretzel business, and the footlong churro is made in collaboration with cinnamon roll-mogul Cinnabon.

What’s more shocking is the price listed beside each item. These treats are surprisingly cheap: $3 for the pretzel and only $2 for the cinnamon churro (that’s approaching Costco and Sam’s Club-price territory.)

And now, for the main event: the footlong cookie. Subway has long been known for the quality of its signature cookies, so have no doubts this enormous iteration will be delicious.

The 12-inch treat looks like the ultimate deep-dish cookie with a near-endless selection of crunchy corners and gooey center bites—aka what cookie dreams are made of. Priced at just $5, the footlong chocolate chip cookie is staying true to Subway’s “$5 footlong” roots and giving you an unbelievable bang for your buck.

Unsurprisingly, fans are losing their minds over these new featured footlongs. One TikTok user commented, “GOING TO A SUBWAY NOWWWWWW,.” Others read, “COOKIE FOOTLONG???” and “I’m about to scream.”

Where to Find Them

So, now we’ve got to know: Where are these footlong treats hiding?

Unfortunately, we don’t know much about their whereabouts yet. According to some comments, the Subway location in the video is in Canada. However, it doesn’t sound like Canadian residents are the only ones able to score the snacks. One source reported buying them inside a Walmart in Arnold, Missouri, while other Instagram users spotted them in locations like Columbus, Ohio, Connecticut, and West Virginia as well.

Some Reddit users have already been digging into the details. In a recent thread, a user asked the community if the footlong pretzel, cookie, and churro sidekicks had been spotted at any locations, adding, “Really wishing my area got test items, but they never do.”

So, stay tuned to find out when these super-sized sweets will be available near you, but in the meantime, you can still try our new favorite footlong sandwich order.
