Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings 2 pounds rutabaga, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch chunks 1 cup water 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon butter 1 teaspoon ground black pepper Directions Combine rutabaga and water in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®). Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 7 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build. Release pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
