Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup butter, softened ½ cup confectioners' sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 (12 ounce) package miniature chocolate chips, divided 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
