Original recipe (1X) yields 50 servings 1 (17.5 ounce) package crispy rice cereal 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1 (14 ounce) package individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped 1 cup margarine 2 (10.5 ounce) packages large marshmallows Directions Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Pour crispy rice cereal into a large bowl. Combine condensed milk, caramels, and margarine in the top of a double boiler. Cook over lightly simmering water, stirring constantly, until melted and combined, about 5 minutes. Working one at a time, use a wooden skewer to dip each marshmallow in hot caramel mixture.
