Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings ⅔ cup vegetable oil 1 cup white sugar 1 egg ¼ cup molasses 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground ginger ¼ cup white sugar ½ teaspoon salt Directions Mix oil and sugar thoroughly with electric mixer.
