You can often find them at local restaurants on the appetizer menu or as a side at your favorite fast food place. One popular eatery known for fried cheese curds is the chef-loved, Wisconsin-based burger restaurant Culver’s. While its butter burgers are the main event, the fast-casual chain serves up millions of orders of the premium side every year. You might be surprised to learn that Culver’s founded National Cheese Curd Day (Oct. 15) and to celebrate, the restaurant is bringing back one of its biggest and cheesiest curd creations—but only for a limited time. Culver’s Brings Back the Curdburger and Launches Hot Honey Cheese Curds Culver's Starting Oct. 1 CurdBurgers are back on the Culver’s menu while supplies last. For those unfamiliar, the CurdBurger features a Deluxe ButterBurger topped with a large battered cheese curd “crown.” The cheesy patty is made from a mix of yellow and white cheese curds, coated in seasoned breadcrumbs, and fried to golden perfection. Culver’s shared the news in an Instagram post and fans couldn’t contain their excitement. “I know what I’m getting for lunch today!!!,” said one commenter. “Keep it on the menu pleaseee,” begged another. One playfully joked the sandwich should be dubbed “The Midwest McRib“. Fans who want to get their hands on a CurdBurger will have to act fast because it will only be available for a limited time. If you miss out though, don’t worry, the restaurant has another exciting cheese curd item coming to the lineup. Starting Oct. 15, fans can snag an order of Culver’s Hot Honey Cheese Curds. The chain is adding a touch of hot honey to the curd batter for a sweet and spicy spin on its signature Wisconsin cheese bites.
