Easy to follow Worth the effort Great recipe and easy to follow for my first time ever making a homemade pie crust. I'm using it for Chef John's Caramel Apple pie Helpful (0) Todd A reviewed LaDonna Langwell’s Grandma's Hamburger Casserole Recipe. 1 week ago This was one of the worst recipes I have ever made from recipes I've used from allrecipes. Followed recipe to a T. Egg noodles were like mush and the texture was pretty gross as well.If I were to make this again, I would boil the egg noodles for only about 5 minutes and I would swap out the sour cream for riccata cheese. I was side eyeing cream cheese with red sauce but based on the good ratings decided to try. I thankfully didn't add the salt figuring garlic salt and what's already in the red sauce was enough; had I added the salt it would have probably not have been edible. It didn't even appear appetizing. Thank goodness I had a delicious dessert to look forward to or this dinner would have been a complete bust! This was so good! For something so simple and downhome, it had great flavor. Hubby, who is not a pasta fan as much as I am, really liked it. Easy, full of flavor.. quite good! Helpful (0) Summertime Orzo Salad 10/07/2024 Great flavors Easy and delicious! I chose not to add peas but went heavy instead on orange bell pepper, onion (white not red) and cucumbers. It is even better the next day! Helpful (1) Garlic Cheese Flatbread 08/19/2024 This turned out good. A couple notes for making this again. The dough itself could use a little more salt or perhaps some parmesan cheese to up the flavor. As written, the dough is very sticky. Once mixed together, dust it with less then a handful of flour so you can bring it together and ball it up. Once it has risen, it is soft you can basically pat into place in your pan versus rolling it out. It cooks up beautifully and would be a great base for pizza. My husband dipped his in gorgonzola dressing and loved it! Helpful (0) Best in Show Blackberry Cobbler 08/13/2024 Quick and easy cobbler, and turned out absolutely beautiful. A great use for seasonal berries. Helpful (0) Chicken Saltimbocca 08/12/2024 The chicken was delicious. Be careful with the sauce. The recipe does not indicate it, but do not use a cast iron skillet to follow the recipe as is. The acidity from the ingredients will capture all the flavoring of the cast iron resulting in a muddy, yucky sauce. Non stick or porcelain would work best. Otherwise, the dish itself is delicious! Helpful (1) Homemade Blueberry Pie 08/09/2024 The recipe was super easy and I had everything in the house for it. I made my own crust and it didn't want to roll out to lattice, so instead I broke it up on top more like a crumble. I sprinkled on some more cinnamon and baked. Its absolutely delicious and a wonderful use of our backyard berries. And since all the ingredients are fresh, I've been eating it for breakfast. Wonderful!
