  • With an electric mixer cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add vanilla. In a separate bowl mix flour, almonds, salt and cornstarch. Add to the butter mixture and mix well. Cover and put in the refrigerator for half an hour. With a cookie press, (You can also use a meatgrinder with a star attached)press the dough onto the cookie sheet in straight lines or create a pattern you like.

  • Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.

  • When cooled drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
