Very good but didn’t taste better than oven roasted

This is a keeper. Softened the potatoes quickly, but they still got nicely caramelized and the cumin was a unique addition that I wouldn't normally have considered.

These turned out great. Company loved them. Soaked in water with all the spices for several hours. Had 4 potatoes so we cooked them for the full 30 minutes in an uncovered foil pan.

I was afraid of the cumin and cayenne, but they were not overpowering at all. This was a delicious way to fix sweet potatoes! Cook time needs to be closer to 20 minutes rather than 30.

Too many times sweet potatoes are just too sweet. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good sweet potato casserole, but a change is nice. These grilled sweet potatoes are perfect! The cayenne and cumin mixed with the brown sugar is the best way to enhance the sweetness of the sweet potato and to give it a kick of heat. If you’re like me and you are the only one in your family who loves sweet potatoes, this is the perfect amount to go along with any main dish. Thank you for this fantastic recipe!

Excellent. Easy once you learn how to make a foil packet. Grill time is 20 minutes.

Delicious and definite keeper recipe! My only modification was to substitute guajillo chili powder for cayenne.

Best sweet potato recipe I’ve had. Cooked exactly like the recipe suggests, comes out perfect every time. I throw these on as I light the grill, and are done when the steaks come off.
