Only changes were - I used Muenster Cheese, Pillsbury dough sheet and Dijon mustard. The mustard really gave it a great pop of taste. Will definitely make again. The egg turns into the main event. Next time I’ll use one egg, put half the cheese in the freezer egg and zucchini mixture and sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. Had to stretch it a little thin for the slightly larger dish, but it was more than sufficient. I will definitely make them again. Just make sure you adjust temp and bake time as necessary. My oven runs hot so I did 375 and I used a mini muffin pan so they only needed about 11 minutes. I did reduce the time I microwaved the chips/butter mixture. 25 seconds on high, stir, then another 20 seconds on high and it was done. I would increase the grated lemon if you want a more zesty flavor. Otherwise it was perfect! I used a regular glaze instead of the caramel icing. I also substituted butter for shortening and added 2tsps of pumpkin pie spice. For flat cookies that are easier to glaze/frost, I floured the bottom of a drinking glass and gently pushed down after spooning the batter on the cookie sheet. Really delicious! I used about 2/3 of a can. -I found the few ingredients and simple directions made this recipe easy and straightforward. -I made a few varieties and the ones I dipped in chocolate were a bit overwhelming for me, though my husband loved them. I recommend making a simple glaze from milk and confectioners sugar and coating them in that then refrigerating until glaze is hard. They look like munchkins this way but the taste is much less overwhelmingly rich! Helpful (2) Savory Onion Corn Bread 11/26/2008 Mine turned out a little mushy with burnt cheese. Still tasted great, but I would recommend adding the cheese near the end and just combining the onion and sour cream for the entire bake time.
