This was a great and simple recipe to use what I already had on hand. I made this ground turkey version except we omitted the cranberries and carrots, and added poultry seasoning per someone else's suggestion. **I ALSO made a VEGETARIAN version - using sauteed Quorn crumbles (with a little garlic powder and rosemary) as the meat substitute and homemade vegetarian gravy - for the gravy and for the stuffing cube mix-in (instead of cream soup). We have meat-eaters and a vegetarian, so I'm always looking for double-duty or easily adaptable recipes. She loved the vegetarian version, so this will be part of our regular rotation.

This frosting was amazing! I followed someone else's suggestion and used a hand mixer in order not to overbeat it, and my frosting didn't break at all. Very happy with the flavor and consistency! I added 2 tsp of cocoa powder to mine because I need them to be more brown to fit my "Oh " themed party. So yeah, my photos are the emoji-looking ones. Still tasted great ;)

HeresDeb reviewed lovestohost’s Brownie Batter + Cupcake = The SECOND BEST Cupcake. Ever. Recipe. 03/19/2019

Exactly what I was looking for for an "Oh !" themed party, lol! I put part of the cupcake batter in first so that the brownie part would be more centered, and ended up with exactly what I wanted. I had also refrigerated the brownie batter, but I don't know if that was necessary or not. I topped with the fluffy pb frosting and it was a great combination!

This was sooo good!! I made it for a themed dinner, but now I'm going to put it in our regular dinner rotation! I did reduce the first cooking time as others mentioned, by half. I also couldn't find chutney, so I used more apricot jam and some hot pepper flakes. Also, this works just fine with lactose-free milk.
