  • Saute onion in butter until tender.

  • Combine flour, egg, water, corn starch, mayonnaise, and parsley. Mix well. Add crab and onion.

  • In about 1/2 inch of hot oil, spoon quarter-cup portions of batter. Fry on one side until golden-brown, then flip and fry on the other side until golden-brown and cooked through.

  • Serve hot with tartar sauce.
