It is so bright and delicious, and you can make it as chunky or as smooth as you like depending on how much you break down your plums while stirring / boiling. The recipe made exactly the amount stated (5 half pint jars). I added 1 tsp of butter to keep jelly from foaming while cooking. Put it into cleaned and heated jars (soaking in hot water) with hot regular canning lids. Turned upside down for 20 mins then flip upright. Seal is great when jelly is really hot when poured into jars. No need for a water bath. Will definitely make this again when I get a bigger batch of ripe plums.
