(I personally really liked it). I have a hand blender which makes this such an easy soup to make. Used half and half cream (because that's all I had) and it still worked. The next day I didn't have enough to go around so I added a can of tomato soup to make it stretch...so good! Great recipe...it's going in my meal planning rotation. Helpful (0) Best Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing 04/25/2008 I just use the dressing from this recipe and it's our favorite. I leave out the anchovies and it's great. We also only use 2 cloves garlic (I shred it using the smallest shredding size on the grater) and that's plenty garlic for us. Maybe shredding it brings out more potency? Anyways - the best. Thanks for the recipe. Helpful (1) Julia's Easy Slow Cooker Chicken 04/03/2008 The family enjoyed this...so did I because it's so easy. I used a small packet of chicken boullion instead of dry onion soup mix because that's what I had on hand. To get the onion flavor I added one medium chopped onion. I also left out the potatoes so I could make mashed potatoes. And I used 3/4 can water 1/4 can milk instead. Very tasty over mashed potatoes...this one is a keeper for us! Thanks for sharing. Helpful (1) Nanaimo Bars 01/27/2008 These were delicious. Here's a tip for beginners. Don't add the egg to the saucepan...if it's too warm the egg will CURDLE. My mom told me to slowly beat about half of the chocolate mixture into the egg, a little at a time, so that it won't curdle from the heat. Hope this helps, thanks for the great recipe, I will make again for sure! Helpful (427) Bar Cookies from Cake Mix 12/10/2007 These turned out great. I used white cake mix and half milk chocolate chips. I only had a 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk and it still turned out great. In appearance they reminded me off the Oat Fudge bar from Starbucks b/c I dropped the remaining batter in little spoonfuls so a lot more of the chocolate was showing. Very easy, will make again, great for when cake mixes are on sale! *Update - sorry! I rated the wrong recipe..."Can't Leave Alone Bars" from this site is what I made a rated...my apologies* Helpful (0) Simply Lasagna 10/23/2007 I'm giving this 5 stars b/c of how easy it was and how good it turned out. This was my first time making lasagna, I was nervous about not cooking the noodles but they turned out perfect. I used cottage cheese and blended it instead of ricotta, otherwise I followed pretty closely to the recipe. However for personal taste I would like to add more tomatoes, sauce, perhaps mushrooms, green peppers next time. But for a first timer and a "simple" lasagna this was perfect. Thank-you very much for the recipe. Helpful (1) recipe collections 1 All Saved Recipes 98 Recipes
