I've made something very similar for years. My mother and I were discussing this recipe (a very long time ago) and she said she always uses "Golden Mushroom Soup". It makes a world of deference, deeper flavor. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I've been making these for years, decades! We call them "Grandma Breakfast Puff" cause Grandma always made them when were little. Her method was assembly line with brushing them with butter and the next kid got to roll it in the cinnamon/sugar mix. No eating till all are done. It's so easy I'll make some for fellow employee's and hand them out at morning break. I've seen the recipe in old Betty Crocker cookbooks. Great fun to make and share.

So moist! Easy to make but so dangerous to execute! I've Deep Fried many a turkey over the years and have only messed it up once. Don't Over Cook The Turkey or your eating shoe leather! Keep it safe, no short cuts!
