It's even better than regular pancakes, or blueberry pancakes. I used frozen bananas.

I altered the recipe after reading the tips of several reviewers. Alterations: Used 3 bananas instead of 2, added 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, used 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white as opposed to all white, added 2 handfuls of coconut flakes and several strawberries(both my idea). Used shortening instead of butter as I did not have much butter. Omitted walnuts. It turned out very good, but I still feel improvement could be made. Next time I make this I will try toasting the coconut for more flavor, and using butter or at least butter flavored shortening as well as including the walnuts. Also, it took 5-10 min longer to bake for me.

Good, but more like a muffin which is not what I wanted.

For all the exciting ingredients, it turned out sorta bland.

Simple, plain, which is good-but I was hoping for "wow" and didn't get it. Maybe if there were some spices in it instead of just cinnamon on top it would of had more zazz.
