After reading a few reviews it decide to follow ELISAW's suggestion due to the amount of syrup leftover. I mare 5 lbs of freshly picked peaches and was able to canned 6 pints, 2 of which I added a star of anise due to a review I read but sorry, I was not a fan of that. Today I opened a left over jar that I had in the fridge and after eating the delicious peach that was left in the jar I realized that there's one serious problem with this recipe. That is that I wish I could pack more peaches in each jar. :) thank you for sharing this recipe and I'm looking forward to going back to the farm to pick more peaches, I want to make more on top of trying other canning recipes. Once again, thank you. Helpful (2) Ghirardelli® Individual Chocolate Lava Cakes 02/15/2014 This recipe was great but I believe that 60% bittersweet chocolate is a bit too rich for my liking. Although, I used a ganache I had made the day before to fill chocolates which was made with semisweet chocolate. Other than that I was extremely satisfied with the results. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Helpful (1) Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Mushrooms 02/15/2014 I made this appetizer for valentines day and my lady and mother in law and I loved them. Extremely easy and fast. The only things is that the amount of cream cheese on the recipe can be quite too much for the amount of mushrooms. I even wrapped part of the creme cheese with bacon alone and was just as great. Thank you for this recipe, will make it again! Helpful (0) Almond-Crusted Tilapia 01/20/2014 I made this today, I only used 3 fillets so I adjusted the recipe by using 1 large egg, Mrs dash instead of lemon pepper since I was out and pepper. I also only used 1/4 cup of flour and almonds. I blended the almonds using the "dry blade"on my blender and used already shredded Parmesan cheese. First of all I think this recipe is great but it needs a few changes for my taste. I used regular butter which if you're not careful will burn. For this I recommend using clarified butter instead. Using this will allow you to fry up to 400 degrees. Another thing I would add is fresh lemon zest to the almond/cheese mix. It would definitely add depth flavor. Other than that I really enjoyed this quick and easy recipe. For those having problems with the fish cooking properly it could be a few things like your pan is way too hot. This can cause your fish to stick and burn. If you over cooked the fish it will fall apart and if your pan is too cold it would cause your fish to sweat a bit therefor your coat will fall apart. Another thing is that you need to handle your fish gently since it is somewhat delicate. I hope this is helpful to most. Thank you for the recipe!
