Wonderful recipe as it stands. One complaint - why give this recipe 3 stars when recipe was changed - drastically? Please stop rating recipes with adjustments - not fair to the submitter.

I am always looking for ways to use avocados. We have a tree in our yard just loaded with avocados. This was incredibly delicious. I made it for breakfast, but could easily be a dessert - very rich and creamy - milkshake like. Even the kids enjoyed it. I am allergic to dairy, so I used 1 cup almond milk, no yogurt and 1/2 of a banana to sweeten instead of the honey - perfection.

Very good cake. I took a recommendation and used 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup key lime juice with great results. Very nicely textured cake. I am going to try with a white cake mix to see how that turns out. I am not crazy about the color with the lemon cake mix - key limes make more of a light yellow color than bright yellow. Just a personal thing - nothing to do with this fabulous recipe.

I was looking for a different way to use eggplant and found it. Very happy with this recipe. I agree for a soup it was a little thick, but I just changed the name to "stew". I liked it the way it was. I took it to my parents while we were preparing for a hurricane and it was just perfevt and very filling. It's a nice, healthy meal. I too used ground turkey. Thanks for the new recipe.
