The only thing she did differently was to add finely chopped red delicious apple. Makes a world of difference - but the original recipe is also fantastic even if you don’t add the apple. We don't use relish, that's the only omission. One addition: sliced black olives. The celery and onions are diced about the same size. When tasted and ready, put into a serving bowl and top with Salad Supreme or Paprika for a beautiful addition to your dinner. I added more mayo and minced dill pickles (instead of the sweet relish as I don’t like sweet pickles) I also added a couple dashes of dried chives and thyme. Turned out pretty good.
