  • Preheat oven to 350

  • Peel and slice or cube potatoes

  • Place potatoes in a baking dish, salt and pepper to taste

  • Add heavy cream, enough to cover the potatoes enought to leave the tops uncovered

  • Spread generously with cheese

  • Top with bread crumbs, if desired

  • Bake 30 to 45 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown

Tips

Coarsly cubed rather than sliced is a nice variation. Great with any meat or poultry dish with a green veggie.
