A keeper! Great flavors Worth the effort Crowd-pleaser
There are simply no words to describe how good these rolls are--all I can offer you is the sound of inhuman grunts and groans in between bites as I devour one after the other. They are INSANELY delicious. The rolls are soft, not overly sweet, and the caramel? OMG TDF. My alterations to the recipe were to make it the old fashioned way, since I don't have a bread machine. I proofed my yeast in the warm warm; mixed all my dry ingredients a large bowl; added the butter (which I melted first) then the yeast mixture. Kneaded dough by hand for 8-10 mins, adding more flour as needed. Placed dough into a well-oiled bowl and let it rise for 90 minutes; then proceeded to follow the recipe instructions from there. I did also add a bit of brown sugar to the filling alongside the cinnamon and butter. As for the caramel, I added some salt, vanilla, and a couple tbsps of heavy cream before pouring it into the pan with the pecans. The rolls rose beautifully, and were perfectly baked at 25 minutes. They came out of the pan like a dream, too. These rolls are some of the best things I've ever made--so thank you for sharing your recipe! It's beyond amazing!

Did my dough in a stand mixer, set aside 2 double in size, also added little brn sugar 2 my cinnamon/butter filling, then I made them as stated in step 3 thru finale of flippin 2 eatTurned out really goodThinking of trying buttermilk 4 H2O next time 2 C outcome of final rollsThanks

The caramel got hard. I followed directions, cooking until sugar melted. Tasted good just the caramel was quite chewy.

Loved it! I did make 9 rolls only. My husband likes alot of caramel so I increased sauce.

These are wonderful caramel rolls! I chose this recipe as it made a smaller amount (but can easily be doubled for company) and it used a bread maker. The rolls are extremely tender and just the right sweetness without being too sweet. They also keep their freshness over several days when well covered. Just pop one into the microwave for 20-30 seconds to warm. I did need to use about 2 1/2 cups flour (instead of 2 cups) and I substituted milk for the water as I didn't have the powdered milk. The recipe should say that it makes 9 servings. Cut the rolled dough into 9 equal pieces which fit perfectly into an 8x8 pan. This recipe is definitely a keeper! Thank you!
