This is delicious and easy to make. I will make this again for sure!

I have made this several times now for Easter. It is SO good you will absolutely love it. The first time I made it and first bite, oh my... I couldn’t believe I had cooked that! Now a family favourite and make it every Easter. Note: I followed the recipe exactly.

I used swiss cheese as that is the traditional ingredient and it was really awesome.

After it seasons for a couple days - quite nice. Didnt sink in the middle which was good. Heidi liked that there were no raisins. I followed it directly but added a bit if nutmeg.

I love this recipe. Its great as it is written or now that I've made it 1/2 a dozen times, I've improvised with adding shrimp, or red and yellow peppers or no stewed tomatoes and leave it creamy coconut. All that said...I should probably make it 5 star!

This was a very good basic meat pie. I did double the spices and then it was savory and aromatic. I would press the meat down into the pie shell more as well as my pieces fell apart - but still good tasting messes! My family all liked it very much! I would make this again.
