She has more than a decade of experience in national food and lifestyle media and content creation. Past experience includes copyediting; creating custom, branded content for national brands; and working in various FOH and BOH jobs in the hospitality industry. Experience Carrie is the Editor-in-Chief of Allrecipes magazine. Prior to working at Allrecipes, she worked on the Better Homes & Gardens brand for over 10 years. She applies her hands-on restaurant experience (and home-cooking experience) to the food content she creates for the brand. Carrie knows how to produce and write approachable, seasonal, and delicious food content for the home cook because she is a home cook. Carrie is a longtime member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and has served as communication chair, food-writing award judge, and annual conference presenter for IACP. Education CB has two bachelor's degrees from Iowa State University in magazine journalism and hospitality management. She also has a master's degree from Drake University in communication leadership.
