Mandy is one of about 100 people who have earned an advanced Cicerone certification, a distinct ranking of individuals with expert-level knowledge of beer. She puts her beer sommelier skills to use teaching blind tasting and pairing workshops, holding virtual beer classes, constructing beverage menus, and guest-starring on podcasts.

When Mandy's not on deadline or constructing a new social media launch, she can be found wandering the streets of NYC discovering new restaurants and sampling new menus and brews with her trusty Cavalier King Charles mix, Chewy, by her side.

Education: Mandy graduated from Texas Christian University in Texas with a bachelor of science in political science and broadcast journalism. While there, she was the anchor and producer for TCU News Now and a regular reporter for the Skiff campus newspaper.
