Adam Dolge

Adam Dolge is an award-winning journalist and recipe developer based in Vermont. He is the author and photographer for the blog The Real Recipes, where he shares recipes inspired by his experience working for food magazines and professional test kitchens. His work has appeared in EatingWell, Food & Wine, Real Simple, Southern Living, Cooking Light, and more.

Adam has nearly two decades of journalism experience, focusing on culinary arts, cooking for families, consumer kitchen products, seasonal ingredients, and grocery shopping trends. He has received several awards from the New York and New Hampshire Press Associations and was an IACP Food Writing Award Finalist.

Adam’s go-to dish for a potluck is a Mexican street corn-inspired salad.

Education

Adam received a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oneonta, where he studied mass communications with a focus on journalism. He also spent a semester studying film at Middlesex University in London. He also has a degree in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America, graduating at the top of his class.
