Two New Mexico fighters, one a boxer, the other an MMA fighter, scored victories on the West Coast Friday night.

At the Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore, California, Albuquerque MMA heavyweight Billy Ray Valdez defeated Larry Gonzales of Clovis, California by unanimous decision on an LFA card.
